What is a rear-facing car seat?
An infant car seat is a rear-facing only car seat that has a 5-point harness. An infant seat has a carrying handle, and usually comes with a base that can be left in the car. The infant seat clicks into and out of the base so you don't have to install the seat each time you use it.
