Joshua Beverly,

"The inclusion of individuals from multiple national origins, perspectives, and values is imperative to the success of any organization that aims to garner the trust, respect, and patronage of its Members."

“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his own individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”

These altruistic words, spoken by Martin Luther King, Jr., resonate deep within my spirit, compelling me to look beyond my own self-interests towards those in need. AAA empowers me with a career in Emergency Road Service to be a dynamic force in this lifelong pursuit.

Diversity to me is represented by the differences in people due to their cultures, religions, life experiences, personal orientations, and unique backgrounds. The inclusion of individuals from multiple national origins, perspectives, and values is imperative to the success of any organization that aims to garner the trust, respect, and patronage of its Members. Only through the wide eyes of diversity can we truly begin to view the world around us and all of the people within it as one humanity.

I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and I am multi-ethnic. My family heritage includes African American, Irish, German, and Native American genealogies. Growing up, I experienced firsthand how it felt to be viewed differently from everyone else at an early age. When I moved to California after graduating college, I was amazed by the immense diversity of cultures that together have carved California into such a great Golden State to live in. When I joined the AAA team, I was even more excited to get the opportunity to work for an industry-respected establishment that prides itself on helping people and making a positive impact in the lives of others. I knew immediately that I was accepted for the individual that I am and I’m thankful to be a part of an organization that values Diversity & Inclusion as much as I do.
