How do I add additional people to my AAA Membership?
To add someone from your household to your Membership, please follow the instructions below:
- Sign in to your account with your AAA login (your email address) and password. Don’t have an online account? Create a new AAA online account now.
- Once you’ve signed in, click the “Add Someone to Your Plan” link from the Account Actions column on your AAA account page.
- Provide the person’s first and last name.
- Provide payment information.
When you add someone to your Membership, they receive the same benefits as you for as little as $44.99 per year per family member. All Memberships on an account must be of the same plan type.
You can add one resident adult (spouse, domestic partner, or parent) and up to seven dependents under the age of 18 as Associates on your account. College students over 18 years old may be added as long as the account holder’s primary address is the student’s permanent residence.
New Associates must wait 48 hours before their Membership is considered active and eligible for road service benefits.

How can I request a replacement AAA Member card?
We can fulfill Membership card requests for AAA Members in Alaska, Arizona, Montana, Nevada, Northern California, Utah and Wyoming. You may request replacement Membership cards online, by emailing us, or by phone.
- To request online: Sign in to your account with your AAA login (your email address) and password. Once you’re signed in, click on “Replacement Membership Card” to confirm and submit your request. Don’t have an online account? Create a new AAA online account now.
- To request by email: You can email us to request a new AAA Membership card. (You may also click on the “Email Us” link at the bottom of our home page.) Please provide the correct mailing address as well as the names of the Member and Associates who need replacement cards.
- To request by phone: Please call 800-922-8228 to reach AAA Member Services Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific Time, and Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pacific Time.
- To access digitally: Download our mobile app.
Please allow 7 to 10 business days to receive your replacement Membership cards by mail.
AAA Members outside Alaska, Arizona, Montana, Nevada, Northern California, Utah, and Wyoming: Although AAA is a national organization, each territory has its own website to support its Members. Please visit aaa.com/stop and enter the zip code associated with your Membership to be directed to your club’s website, where you can contact them directly.
How do I change my AAA Membership plan online?
To change your Membership plan online, please follow the instructions below:
Sign in to your account with your AAA login (your email address) and password. Don’t have an online account? Create a new AAA online account now.
Once logged in, click the “Change Your Membership Plan” link.
If you are not in the renewal period or are signed up for Automatic Renewal, choose the new plan you wish to have. Review the prorated charges for the remainder of your term, and provide your payment information.
If your Membership is in the renewal period and you are not signed up for Automatic Renewal, you’ll need to pay your renewal balance for the following year at the same time.
You can sign up or unenroll in Automatic Renewal anytime online. Enrollment must be before your anniversary date in order for automatic payments to be processed.

How do I log out of my AAA account?
- Go to "My Account."
- Click on "Sign Out" under the Account Actions section. You'll be logged out of your account and taken to the homepage.
To sign out of your AAA Insurance account, go to "My Account" and select "Manage Your Insurance" under the Account Actions section. You'll be taken to your insurance overview page. From there, click on your name in the upper right corner and select "Sign Out." You will be logged out of your account and redirected to the AAA homepage.
